Operation Active Schools

To support our mission, we launched ‘Operation Active Schools’ in 2021, to invest in over 10,000 hours of physical education and school sport delivery by 2025, engaging over 25,000 children.

What is OAS?

To support our mission, we launched ‘Operation Active Hampshire’ back in 2021, to invest in over 10,000 hours of physical education and school sport delivery by 2025, engaging over 25,000 children. Following our 2024 expansion into Sussex, the programme is now called ‘Operation Active Schools’ (OAS).

Working in education is tough. We know there’s a constant feeling of being undervalued, understaffed and under paid. We also know that if it was purely down to money, we know many of us would have never started in this industry…but we did. Because it’s about more than that.

We all work in education because we share a drive and passion about shaping the youth of today, providing education and opportunities for those who need us most. It’s what connects us as a work force. We share this passion and it’s why we created Operation Active Schools. Our funded programme that exists purely to increase activity levels amongst children for their own health and wellbeing.

Operation Active Schools is a funded programme because health and wellbeing shouldn’t be about the money. We want to remove the financial barrier many schools face and offer this programme as an addition to your current provision.

Operation Active Schools will see us invest in over 10, 000 hours of PE and school sport into Hampshire and Sussex Primary schools by 2025.
