For the past 2 years, we’ve been working with Ecologi, a Bristol-based company renowned for planting over 25 million trees and funding carbon reduction projects. Ecologi, a social enterprise like ours, is dedicated to climate action by directing 85% of its funds into projects that help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Working with Ecologi forms phase 1 of our dedicated green strategy: Green 360, and directly aligns with our commitment as a social enterprise to reinvest up to 65% of profits back into the communities we work in.
We are proud to be first education and sports provider in Hampshire and Sussex to offset our carbon footprint from service delivery miles.
- Offsetting Our Carbon Footprint:
Through our work with Ecologi, we are able to offset the carbon emissions generated by delivering our services. Ecologi’s gold standard certified carbon reduction projects ensure that every contribution made makes measurable benefits for the environment, some of which include: generating renewable wind energy in Brazil, protection of the Mataven forest in eastern Colombia and rainforest protection in central Brazil.
- Supporting Reforestation:
The second benefit of working with Ecologi is our support for large scale reforestation efforts. Ecologi has planted over 25 million trees worldwide as well as having expertise in restoring natural habitats. Ecologi ensures that each tree that’s planted contributes to carbon offsetting, wildlife preservation and the revitalisation of ecosystems. This has helped us combat deforestation by giving us the opportunity to plant 4,066 trees (so far!) which has offset a total of 70 Tonnes of CO2.
- Supporting Communities:
Our work goes beyond environmental impact; it means the communities we work in can do their bit for carbon offsetting too. We regularly make additional donations to offset any delivery miles caused by parents who attend our camps during our ‘Green Week’ or by teachers who attend our annual Health and Wellbeing Conference.

Over the past two years, our Ecologi partnership has driven sustainable progress and reinforced our commitment to the planet’s health. This academic year alone, we’ve offset a total of 48.67 Tonnes of CO2. And this is only the beginning in what we’d like to do to be greener.
