Initial Challenge
Darren initially reached out to ActiveMe 360 as a tried and trusted organisation who already had a positive working relationship with the school. Due to the previous provider entering administration, the school were unable to continue offering wraparound provision to their families.
Approach
ActiveMe 360 met with Darren to understand their needs of a wraparound provider. Having listened to Darren, ActiveMe 360 were able to provide wraparound care 5 days a week with just 4 days’ notice. Having successfully delivered this provision in the weeks leading up to Christmas and onwards to February Half term, holding several review meetings and listening to school and parent feedback, Darren asked if we could continue this provision ongoing.
Results
Since then, we have grown the provision in both size and structure. Now offering 10 after-school clubs per week ranging from your traditional sports clubs through to science and even detective work. We have a wraparound provision running 3pm-6pm daily.
