Overview
According to the Mental Health Foundation 50% of mental health problems are established by age 14 and 10% of children and young people (aged 5-16 years) have a clinically diagnosable mental problem with 70% of children and adolescents who experience mental health problems have not had appropriate interventions at a sufficiently early age.
If we as educators can put something in place to help increase our happiness, reduce anxiety and stress, should we not be trying this?
Our Mini Me Yoga program allows you to embed the techniques into the school day, use it as part of the PE curriculum (an alternative sport!) or even hold a breakfast or after school yoga club for your pupils.
The CPD accredited program includes:
- Yoga poses
- Breathing techniques
- Mindfulness Strategies
- Relaxation
- Yoga Games & fun!
By attending a Mini Me Yoga Community Workshop, you receive everything they need to get started straight away and DO NOT need any previous yoga experience.
It’s easy to learn, easy to implement and training in the foundation course only takes a couple of hours to complete.
