Overview
Delivered though interactive and engaging sessions, our qualified tutors will ensure all pupils have the opportunity to take part in practical activities which include the use of CPR manakins and trainer AED’s.
A number of role play scenarios will help embed understanding of danger of how to contact and communicate effectively with the emergency services. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions of our knowledgeable trainers, they will be more than willing to answer!
Now an essential part of the school curriculum, the topics we cover include:
- Keeping yourself safe/assessing danger
- Recognising signs and symptoms
- Know what to do in an emergency
- Giving first aid in different situations
- Focus on: Burns; Bleeds; Breaks; Choking; Unresponsive person; Asthma; CPR
